Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer with 34 years of experience, you will have the exciting opportunity to own the automation journey right from the beginning. You will be responsible for building the automation framework from scratch across web, API, and mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and build the QA automation framework from the ground up. - Define tools, processes, and best practices for automation testing in web, mobile, and API. - Design and implement automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar. - Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps to integrate testing into the release cycle. - Ensure high-quality product delivery through robust test automation and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - 34 years of hands-on QA automation experience. - Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting up automation frameworks. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with Selenium and Appium for mobile automation. - Comfortable with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git). - Familiarity with Agile development practices. Additional Details: Bonus Points For: - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. - Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). - Previous experience in establishing automation in a startup or from scratch.
