Quality Analyst (Automation Testing Engineers)

You will be joining Acuity Software Technologies as an Automation Testing Engineer, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products through the development and execution of automated test scripts. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to understand software requirements, designing comprehensive test plans, and developing automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks. As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in validating system functionality, performance, and reliability by executing automated tests. You will also be responsible for setting up test environments to simulate real-world scenarios and integrating automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline in collaboration with development and operations teams. Your responsibilities will include identifying and prioritizing test cases for automation, troubleshooting and analyzing test failures, and contributing to the enhancement of the automation framework and testing processes. It is essential to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation methodologies and tools, and to propose and implement improvements to the existing automation framework. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as an Automation Tester with strong programming skills in languages such as Ruby, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python. Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous. A solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are key attributes for this position. Candidates should hold a B.Tech, BSc, or MSc degree in Computer Applications, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Possession of ISTQB or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
