JOB DESCRIPTION PLC Engineer (AB / Siemens / Mitsubishi, Servo & MES Track) Location: Chennai Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (site travel mandatory) SUMMARY We are seeking a versatile PLC Engineer with hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC platforms, along with strong expertise in Rockwell servo drives and motion systems. The ideal candidate will be eager to expand into MES integration, data connectivity, and IT-OT transformation projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program, modify, and troubleshoot AB (Studio 5000), Siemens (TIA Portal), and Mitsubishi (GX Works) PLCs. Configure, tune, and maintain Rockwell servo drives and motion applications. Develop, update, and maintain HMI/SCADA systems (FactoryTalk ME/SE or similar). Diagnose automation issues and drive improvements in equipment reliability and uptime. Support onsite commissioning, upgrades, retrofits, and integration projects. Participate in MES rollout, data-flow mapping, and connectivity initiatives. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and SOPs. REQUIREMENTS ~2+ years of experience in automation or PLC engineering. Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC platforms. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation discipline. Interest in growing toward MES / IT-OT integration.
