Job Title: MERN Stack Developer Experience: 2+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in building scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will be responsible for developing new features, optimizing existing modules, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Work with databases, including schema design, queries, and aggregations in MongoDB. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings. Maintain clear documentation for code and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern front-end development practices. Experience with React hooks, Redux or Context API. Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. Solid understanding of MongoDB (indexes, aggregation, schema design). Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub. Familiarity with package managers (npm/yarn). Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus. Understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Attention to detail and commitment to code quality. Preferred (Optional) Skills Experience with TypeScript. Knowledge of Next.js or other modern frameworks. Experience with Docker or containerized applications. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
