QS Billing cum planning

Job Purpose:

To manage project cost control, billing, estimation, and planning activities, ensuring that civil construction projects are executed within the approved budget, schedule, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:1. Quantity Surveying & Billing

• Prepare and verify client bills (RA bills), subcontractor bills, and material reconciliation.
• Ensure all measurements are properly recorded from site and approved by clients/consultants.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and rate analysis for civil and finishing works.
• Maintain records of variations, extra items, and deviations as per site execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site engineers for certification and approval of bills.
• Reconcile quantities with drawing revisions and actual site conditions.

2. Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and update project schedules using MS Project / Primavera / Excel.
• Track progress of work on a weekly and monthly basis, highlighting delays or slippages.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, bar charts, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, site, and design teams to ensure material and manpower planning aligns with project timelines.
• Identify critical activities and help in catch-up planning to meet deadlines.

3. Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor project costs vs. budget, identify cost overruns, and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing cash flow statements and project financial forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain records for reconciliation of materials, labour, and subcontractors.
• Support management in claims preparation and contractual documentation.

4. Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain proper documentation for all billing and planning records.
• Attend site meetings for progress review and billing clarifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and Site Execution teams for quantity finalization and certification.
• Ensure compliance with company and client quality standards.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, rate analysis, billing procedures, and contracts.
• Hands-on experience in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project / Primavera.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Understanding of drawings, construction techniques, and material specifications.
• Ability to work with site teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹64,364.27 per month
