Digital Marketing & Publications Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to fill a unique hybrid role combining website design, digital advertising, and academic desktop publishing (DTP). The ideal candidate is a creative yet meticulous professional who can manage our online presence through a modern, functional website, drive engagement and leads through targeted Facebook ad campaigns, and ensure our academic publications meet the highest standards of professional layout and formatting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Website Design & Management Design, build, and maintain our organization's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive; Update website content, including text, images, and publications, on a regular basis; Implement basic SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings; Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues, including performance and security; Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress is essential. 2. Facebook Ads Management Plan, create, and manage end-to-end Facebook/meta (and Instagram) advertising campaigns to meet key objectives (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, event registration); Conduct audience research, A/B testing, and ad creative development (both copy and visuals); Monitor ad performance, budgets, and key metrics (CPA, CTR, ROAS).; Provide regular reports on campaign performance with actionable insights for improvement; Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising. 3. Academic Journal DTP Operator Typeset and format manuscripts for academic journals and other publications according to specific style guides and templates; Utilize desktop publishing software, primarily Adobe InDesign and potentially LaTeX, to create professional layouts; Ensure high levels of accuracy in typography, layout, and formatting; Prepare final, print-ready or digitally-ready files (PDFs) for publication; Collaborate with authors and editors to incorporate revisions and ensure a smooth production workflow; Perform quality control checks on all publications before they are finalized.
