QE Selenium Tester

Role Overview: You are sought after to be a skilled Quality Engineering (QE) Selenium Tester in our team. Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain a robust automation testing strategy that aligns with agile sprints and release cycles. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through automated testing. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation test strategies for agile sprints and release cycles. - Identify and choose appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies for test automation. - Customize and improve the existing test automation framework to meet project requirements. - Work closely with the AutoNation team to define and prioritize test automation scenarios. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. - Document and monitor defects; collaborate with development teams for issue resolution. - Participate in code reviews, automation design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualification Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation scripting. - Solid understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Maven). - Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test lifecycle within sprint-based development. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Additional Details: Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured is advantageous.
