Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental monitoring samples.
• Manage and supervise routine microbiology lab operations including water analysis, sterility testing, and endotoxin testing.
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs (air, surface, personnel monitoring) in cleanrooms and controlled areas.
• Validate and maintain microbial testing methods as per pharmacopeial standards (IP, USP, BP, EP).
• Support aseptic practices, gowning validation, and cleanroom qualification activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain microbiology-related SOPs, protocols, and records.
• Handle microbial investigations, deviations, and support CAPA implementation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO, and global regulatory guidelines (MHRA, USFDA, EU-GMP, etc.).
• Train junior microbiologists and team members on microbiological techniques and compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology (or related life sciences).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical microbiology.
• In-depth knowledge of aseptic techniques, microbiological methods, and GMP requirements.
• Hands-on experience in handling microbiological instruments such as Laminar Air Flow, Incubators, Autoclaves, Colony Counters, and Endotoxin Testing equipment.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills with a compliance-focused mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
