Experience: 1–5 years (Herbal / Nutraceutical / Pharma QC preferred)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Laboratory Testing Technician to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gravimetric testing, UV analysis, titrations, TLC, and general physical parameter evaluation of herbal extracts. The role also includes calibration of basic laboratory instruments, documentation work, and adherence to GLP.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Conduct routine gravimetric tests of herbal extracts.

2)Perform UV–Vis analysis, titrations, and TLC profiling of herbal extracts.

3)Evaluate physical parameters such as pH, density, solubility, color, and appearance.

4)Operate and calibrate basic lab instruments, including:

a)Analytical balance

b)pH meter

c)UV–Vis spectrophotometer

d)Drying oven/muffle furnace

5)Maintain accurate documentation as per SOPs, calibration logs, and test reports.

6)Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.

7)Support routine QC activities for herbal, nutraceutical, and related products.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Pharma in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/Pharmacognosy/Phytochemistry or related field.
• 1–5 years of laboratory experience in herbal, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical QC.
• Strong understanding of wet chemistry, TLC, and UV analysis.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and basic troubleshooting.
• Good documentation discipline and familiarity with GLP.
