QA - Tester

We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to become a part of our expanding team at Meritorious Infotech in Nanpura, Surat. As a QA Tester, your main responsibility will be to conduct manual testing for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. It will be your duty to ensure the stability, usability, and performance of our apps meet the standards before they are released to real users. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 12 years of experience in mobile QA who are excited to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include executing manual testing for mobile applications on Android and iOS, creating and managing comprehensive test plans and test cases, identifying, tracking, and validating bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar software, conducting various types of testing including functional, regression, UI/UX, usability, and performance testing, collaborating with developers and designers to resolve issues, ensuring product quality and usability before launch, and contributing to the enhancement of QA processes. To qualify for this position, you must possess a minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in mobile app testing, have familiarity with Android and iOS platforms and devices, demonstrate a solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC, be proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases, have experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc., exhibit strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Preferred skills that would be advantageous for this role include exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Swagger, basic knowledge of test automation tools such as Appium and Selenium, experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, and familiarity with crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics.
