QA Tester

As an IT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with more than 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will involve developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications. By identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects, you will collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly. Your proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar will be essential in creating and maintaining automated test scripts to streamline the testing process. Additionally, you will conduct performance and load testing to ensure software scalability and reliability. Regression testing will also be a part of your routine to verify that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure that quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed test reports, summaries, and quality metrics, while documenting testing processes and procedures for future reference. Your technical skills should include a strong proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium and JUnit is a must, along with a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter and knowledge of scripting languages like Python and JavaScript will be advantageous.
