QA Practice Lead

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of QA professionals across multiple projects. Your role will involve defining and implementing QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure product quality and efficiency. You will drive automation initiatives using Selenium, BDD (Cucumber), and API Automation frameworks. Collaboration with development and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and defect prevention will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will oversee test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. Evaluation of new tools and technologies to enhance automation efficiency and maintain cutting-edge QA standards will also be part of your role. Establishing and monitoring QA metrics to assess quality progress and team performance as well as providing thought leadership and technical direction for the QA practice across the organization are essential responsibilities. Your qualifications should include 12-15 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation. Expertise in QA Automation frameworks and tools like Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber is a must. Hands-on experience in API testing and automation using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools is required. Proven experience in team handling, including mentoring and performance management, is necessary. A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD integration is essential. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also expected. You should have the ability to drive continuous improvement in testing processes and quality standards. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, exposure to cloud-based testing environments, and DevOps practices.
