QA Power Apps & Power Automate

Role Requirements

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead with hands-on experience in Power Platform technologies, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring quality delivery of low-code or no-code applications and automated workflows. This role will require strong test strategy skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Lead end-to-end testing activities for solutions built using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Define, develop, and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Drive test automation and process improvements using tools compatible with Power Platform.
• Ensure that all testing is carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinate and manage testing resources across different phases of the SDLC.
• Provide clear and concise test status reporting and defect tracking using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as part of the Agile process.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2+ years in Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Strong understanding of Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate Flows.
• Experience with manual and automated testing, especially in the context of Power Platform.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Test Plans, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Dynamics 365 integrations.
• Good understanding of API testing, data validation, and performance testing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Power BI, AI Builder, or RPA in Power Automate Desktop.
• Experience with security and compliance testing in cloud-based platforms.
