QA Manual Tester

You will be responsible for designing and executing manual test cases focused on hardware-integrated systems, embedded environments, and emulators. Your role will involve translating complex system requirements and user stories into well-structured test cases and maintaining comprehensive test documentation for traceability and thorough coverage. It will be crucial for you to identify, document, and follow up on bugs and inconsistencies across releases and change requests, collaborating closely with development and hardware teams to ensure robust system validation across interfaces. Additionally, you will be utilizing your 12 years of experience in Java to support test scripting or automation where applicable. As a Senior QA Engineer with a primary focus on hardware/manual testing, you must demonstrate expertise in manual testing with at least 5 years of experience. Your proven experience in testing physical devices, hardware components, or emulators will be essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Java scripting for test scripting or automation utilities is a must, along with a solid understanding of test case design, defect tracking tools like JIRA, and familiarity with testing life cycle models. Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS will be advantageous, as well as hands-on experience with SQL and databases. Preferred skills for this position include experience with Python or other test automation frameworks, testing certifications such as ISTQB, CP-SAT, CP-MAT, etc., and familiarity with location-based technologies such as GPS, mapping, and navigation systems. A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams are also highly desirable qualities.
