QA Manual Test - Engineer

As a Manual Testing professional at Iris Software, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-growing IT services company that values talent and career aspirations. You will be responsible for analyzing user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases. Your role will involve conducting manual testing of web application features across various functionalities and user flows, as well as identifying, reproducing, documenting, and reporting software defects using tools like Jira. You will be expected to write medium complexity SQL queries for data validation and collaborate with developers to ensure proper regression testing. Your participation in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions will provide valuable testing insights and feedback to the team. Staying up-to-date on the latest manual testing methodologies and best practices will be essential to your success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience in Data Migration Testing, knowledge of Gherkin format for test case creation, and familiarity with Agile methodology. Excellent communication skills are a must-have, along with proficiency in tools like Cucumber BDD. Your shift timings will be from 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST.
