Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Integration QA Engineer to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to test and validate the integration of various systems, applications, and services. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless system interactions and maintain high-quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate system integrations. You will work with developers and business analysts to identify integration points and potential issues. Conducting functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing to ensure robust system performance will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will monitor, debug, and troubleshoot integration issues, working closely with the engineering team to resolve defects. Developing and maintaining automated integration test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks is crucial. You will also ensure that integrations meet business requirements, security standards, and performance expectations, and document test results, defects, and best practices for continuous improvement. Your involvement in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives will be essential. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in integration testing and quality assurance is also expected. The required skills and experience for this role include proven experience as an Integration QA Engineer or in a similar role, a strong understanding of integration testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or similar, hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Karate, understanding of databases, SQL queries, and data validation techniques, experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with microservices testing, knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications (a plus).
