Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Understand requirements, create
test plans, test cases, and test data
.
Perform
manual testing
across web, mobile, and API layers.
Execute
functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing
.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
Conduct
API testing
using tools like
Postman/Rest Assured
.
Perform
basic SQL queries
to validate backend data.
Participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies
and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
Report and track bugs using
JIRA, TestRail, or other test management tools
.
Work with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) for regression testing (if applicable).
Provide clear and detailed
test reports and defect logs
.
