QA Engineer (Manual+ Automation)

As a QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience, your role will involve ensuring the quality, security, and resilience of applications through various testing methodologies. You should have a deep understanding of modern QA practices and tools to succeed in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. - Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product managers to guarantee end-to-end product quality. - Perform API testing, UI automation, load/performance testing, and security validation. - Conduct resiliency testing in distributed/cloud environments to ensure system stability under failures. - Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and contribute to QA best practices. - Continuously improve automation frameworks, pipelines, and QA processes. Required Technical Skills / Tools: - Test Management & Tracking: Zephyr, qTest, Jira - Automation & Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG, Cypress (nice-to-have) - API Testing: Postman - Performance & Load Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner (optional) - Security Testing: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus (or equivalent) - Resiliency / Chaos Engineering: Gremlin, Chaos Monkey (preferred) - Code Quality & Analysis: SonarQube - CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins, Git / GitHub / GitLab, GitHub Actions - Databases & Cloud: SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP environments Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for setting up test environments. - Experience with security validation (OWASP Top 10, penetration testing basics). - Exposure to microservices testing and contract testing (Pact or similar). - Knowledge of shift-left testing approaches and CI/CD-driven QA.
