QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer specializing in Playwright and JavaScript (Manual + Automation) at iVoyant, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the next-generation enterprise products and solutions built using cutting-edge technologies. Your role will involve collaborating with development and service teams to implement comprehensive testing strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Test Planning & Strategy:** - Develop and maintain test plans in alignment with product requirements. - Design detailed test cases and scripts covering functional and non-functional aspects. - **Test Execution:** - Perform manual and automated testing using Playwright for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Conduct API testing using Postman, including performance and load testing. - Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, version control, and CI/CD pipeline integration. - Strong experience with JavaScript is required for writing and maintaining automated test scripts and enhancing test frameworks. - **Automation & Performance Testing:** - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript. - Integrate API performance testing within Postman. - Analyze performance testing results and recommend improvements. - **Collaboration & Communication:** - Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure testability. - Participate in code reviews and provide testing insights. - Document test results and generate reports for stakeholders. - **Continuous Improvement:** - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging testing tools. - Continuously enhance testing processes and tools for efficiency. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-6 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation). - Proficiency in Playwright for automation testing, with strong JavaScript experience for writing test scripts. - Strong experience with Postman for API testing, including performance testing. - Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for DevOps & CI/CD. - Experience in penetration testing is a plus for security testing. - Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. - Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills are essential.
