QA Engineer at An IT Service Company

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for web and backend APIs.
• Write and run complex queries for data validation across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate database and API tests into automated testing pipelines (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to design and execute data-centric test scenarios.
• Document findings and clearly communicate defects to stakeholders.
• Perform usability, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing for web.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency with automation tools (Rest Assured, Selenium) and scripting (Java, Python).
• Experience in API, browser, and end-to-end testing across platforms (Web, Android, iOS).
• Understanding of performance testing using JMeter.
• Ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
