QA Automation Tester

You will be responsible for designing and developing automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve site reliability and operational efficiency. Your role will involve automating site monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to enhance system reliability. Additionally, you will be in charge of sending reports, analyzing automation results, and providing actionable insights for system improvements. Building custom tools and utilities to address specific SRE challenges will also be a part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with the SRE/DevOps/Support team to improve incident response times and reduce system downtime is crucial. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of automation and testing experience. Proficiency in Python/Perl Scripting or any scripting language is required. A good understanding of monitoring and observability tools like OpenSearch, Kibana (ELK Stack), Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace is essential. You should be able to effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions in automation. Experience in designing test strategies, writing automation scripts to test REST API and UI is necessary. Excellent coding skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python are expected. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to work collaboratively with the team to achieve team and individual goals within deadlines is essential. Familiarity with data visualization, alerting mechanisms, and SAP Commerce Cloud is advantageous.
