QA Automation Test Engineer - BFSI

As a QA Automation Engineer in the BFSI domain with 3 to 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing test strategies, plans, and schedules for both web and mobile applications. Your key responsibilities will include performing functional, regression, system integration, and exploratory testing for various platforms, including conducting end-to-end testing for critical workflows such as Mutual Fund transactions, NAV calculations, and portfolio management. You will design and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks, and integrate these scripts into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles. Additionally, you will identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements, and mentor junior testers to enhance team productivity. Your role will also involve conducting mobile application testing across platforms (iOS, Android), performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web applications, and validating API integrations and data flow between front-end and back-end systems. Leveraging your BFSI domain knowledge, particularly in the Mutual Fund space, you will test critical business scenarios and prepare detailed test execution reports to improve testing processes. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the BFSI domain. Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and familiarity with API testing tools like Postman are essential. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ISTQB certification or equivalent would be advantageous.
