QA Automation Engineer (UI & API Testing)

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation scripts using Java with Selenium WebDriver or TypeScript with WebdriverIO (WDIO). Additionally, you will perform API automation testing using the RestAssured framework and build and maintain automated test frameworks using TestNG/JUnit (for Java) or Mocha (for TypeScript). Conducting cross-browser and cross-device automated regression testing, generating comprehensive test reports and logs for analysis and debugging, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in automation frameworks and test cases will also be part of your duties. Collaborating with development and QA teams in Agile environments to ensure high-quality deliverables is crucial. You will participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Integration of automated test suites with CI/CD tools like Jenkins is considered a plus. To excel in this role, you are required to have 3.5 to 4 years of experience in UI automation using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or JUnit, along with 2 years of experience in API automation using RestAssured. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, TypeScript, Python, or JavaScript (minimum 2 years) is essential. Strong knowledge of test design, execution, and reporting, as well as hands-on experience in debugging and maintaining automation suites, are also necessary skills. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and exposure to test automation in Typescript with Mocha or WDIO are considered beneficial for this role.,
