QA Automation Engineer (Playwright with .Net)

As a QA Automation Engineer specializing in Playwright with .Net, you will play a crucial role in ImpactQA's Testing department. Your responsibilities will revolve around automation development, migration from Selenium, test execution & maintenance, regression testing, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Automate existing manual test cases from Azure DevOps into Playwright, focusing on maintainability, reusability, and performance optimization. - Convert Selenium based test cases to Playwright to ensure functional parity and increased efficiency. - Execute Playwright test suites as scheduled, report results promptly, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve automation failures. - Conduct manual and automated regression testing for each release cycle, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using Azure DevOps. - Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines, and provide recommendations for enhancing automation strategy and frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 3 to 6 years of Software Testing experience with at least 2+ years in Automation using Playwright. - Proficiency in Selenium, .Net, and test automation best practices. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and smoke testing, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in migrating automation suites from Selenium to Playwright. - Exposure to API automation tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
