Python Programmer (with ML Experience)

As an experienced Python Programmer with expertise in software development and applied Machine Learning (ML), your role will involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining Python-based applications and solutions. You will design and implement ML models, algorithms, and pipelines for real-world use cases. Additionally, you will work with large datasets, deploy ML models into production environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML capabilities into products. It is essential to optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability while staying updated with the latest trends in Python development and AI/ML tools. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing, optimizing, and maintaining Python-based applications and solutions. - Designing and implementing ML models, algorithms, and pipelines for real-world use cases. - Working with large datasets: data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering. - Deploying ML models into production environments (APIs, cloud, or on-premises). - Collaborating with data scientists, developers, and product teams to integrate ML capabilities into products. - Optimizing code for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Staying updated with the latest trends in Python development, AI/ML tools, and frameworks. The qualifications required for this role include: - Strong Python programming skills (object-oriented design, data structures, debugging) with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - 2-3 years of ML experience including supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and NLP. - Hands-on experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras. - Proficiency in data handling & analysis using NumPy, Pandas, and SQL. - Experience in model deployment using Flask/FastAPI, Docker, REST APIs, and cloud platforms. - Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, versioning) is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Good to have skills include experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and exposure to AI/ML applications in SaaS or product-based companies.
