Description
As a Python Developer/Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python (Flask). You will collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Additionally, you will optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security, integrate with third-party APIs and external data sources, and write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Furthermore, you will implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, contribute to deployment strategies, monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python (Flask). - Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security. - Integrate with third-party APIs and external data sources. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices. - Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, contributing to deployment strategies. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience as a Python Developer/Engineer. - Strong hands-on expertise with Flask (FastAPI or Django is a plus). - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest). - Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection). - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment. Nice to Have: - Experience with asynchronous frameworks (Celery, asyncio). - Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue, Angular) for API integration. - Exposure to data pipelines, analytics, or machine learning workflows.
