Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of the Analytical Product team, where you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy data-driven applications that drive insights and decision-making across the business. Your passion for building scalable analytical tools using modern web frameworks and cloud-native technologies will be key in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain analytical web applications and services. - Collaborate with data scientists and subject matter experts to translate analytical requirements into robust software solutions. - Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and testing. - Develop APIs and backend services using Python and modern web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django). - Work with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform, or AWS/Azure) to deploy and scale applications. - Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed. - Contribute to the full analytical lifecycle from data ingestion and transformation to visualization and reporting. **Primary Skills:** - Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one modern web framework (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django). - Solid understanding of the analytical lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, model storage, and visualization. - Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure. - Hands-on experience with containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
