Python Developer (AI & ML)

You are seeking an experienced Python Developer with a deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join the Product Engineering team at Matrimony.com Ltd. As a Python Developer with AI/ML experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing intelligent systems and data-driven applications that power next-generation product experiences. Your role will involve developing scalable machine learning pipelines, integrating LLM-based solutions, fine-tuning and deploying models, and implementing robust backend services that deliver secure, high-performance AI functionality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build scalable, AI-enhanced backend applications using Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask). - Develop intelligent APIs and microservices for matchmaking algorithms, recommendation systems, profile scoring, and user-personalization workflows. - Integrate AI/ML models (classification, embeddings, LLMs) into production pipelines to deliver smarter user experiences. - Work on real-time and batch inference systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability at scale. - Build and optimize data pipelines and storage layers to support AI, personalization, and fraud-prevention use cases. - Work with relational & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and vector databases for embeddings-based search and recommendations. - Ensure efficient feature storage, model versioning, and data governance for ML experimentation and deployment. - Deploy ML/LLM services, APIs, and inference pipelines using Docker & cloud-native tooling. - Continuously monitor model & system performance (latency, drift, accuracy) and optimize for scalability and trust-safety. - Work on fraud detection, fake-profile identification, trust scoring, and intelligent platform navigation to enhance user trust and conversion. - Stay updated with evolving AI/ML technologies including transformers, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), explainable AI, and privacy-aware learning. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask) for AI-driven applications. - Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs that integrate machine learning models and data-driven services. - Solid expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and preferably vector databases such as Pinecone/Faiss/Weaviate. - Good understanding of scalable backend and ML system design including distributed processing, model lifecycle, and inference pipelines.
