Python Backend Engineer (Agnetic AI)

Who You Are:

• BTech/BE CS or related discipline with 5+ years of backend experience designing,building large-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on experience developing backend systems usingPython, with a deep understanding of software design, performance, and maintainability
• Proven experience with modernPython frameworkssuch asFastAPI, Django, or Flask, used in production at scale
• Strong expertise in designing and implementingRESTful and GraphQL APIs, with a focus on scalability, versioning, and clean data modeling
• Solid working knowledge ofrelational/NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and handling large datasets
• Experience working withAgentic AIsystems or integrating LLM-based agents into backend workflows is highly desirable for this role
• Experience building and deploying applications onAWS, leveraging services likeEC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch
• Familiar with microservices architecture, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems
• Comfortable withDocker, Kubernetes,and setting upCI/CDpipelines for smooth and reliable deployments
• Strong understanding of backend engineering best practices: testing, observability, security, and resilience at scale
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, frontend, andDevOps, following agile methodologies

What you&aposll do:

• Design andbuild scalable backend systemsusing Python and modern frameworks likeFastAPI, Django, or Flask, optimized for performance and maintainability
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies, and (ideally) explore how Agentic AI and LLM integrations can be leveraged in modern backend services
• Develop and maintain robustRESTful and GraphQL APIsthat power internal systems, user-facing apps, and external integrations
• Architectdistributed microservicescapable of handling large-scale workloads, with a focus on fault tolerance, security, and observability
• Own data modeling and query design forrelational/NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and query performance
• Work closely with DevOps to define and implement cloud-native infrastructure onAWS, including CI/CD, monitoring, and auto-scaling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, frontend developers, and other engineers to define features, scope solutions, and deliver high-impact projects
• Implementasynchronous tasksand event-driven workflows using tools likeCeleryand message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS)
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and influence best practices across engineering
