Python Automation Tester with API

As a Python Automation Tester with API expertise, your role will involve designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure product quality. You will be expected to: - Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Python. - Perform API Automation testing across different modules and systems. - Implement and work with BDD frameworks for behavior-driven testing. - Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to identify and resolve defects. - Ensure test cases cover functional, regression, and integration scenarios. - Actively participate in scrum meetings, reviews, and retrospectives. The qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of hands-on real-time experience in Python + API Automation. - Strong Python coding expertise is mandatory. - 1+ year real-time experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Behave, etc.). - Good exposure to tools like PyCharm (candidate must have PyCharm installed for TI round). - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and agile processes. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. This is a Contractual / Temporary role with a contract length of 6 months. The work location for this position is in person in Pune.
