What are we looking for:

The Purple Team Security role bridges the gap between offensive and defensive cybersecurity strategies, fostering collaboration between red teams and blue teams.

As an individual contributor who identifies improvement opportunities in enterprise security services and technologies. This role works independently under the direction of the Senior Manager, Cyber Security, to identify and remediate potentially exploitable vulnerabilities.

Role: Purple Team Security Analyst

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 5+ Years

Shift Timings: 6:30 AM IST-3:30 PM IST

Key Skills: Security Testing, Purple Teams, Application Security, CI/CD

Key Responsibilities: A successful Purple Team Security Analyst will leverage their understanding of modern threat actors and MITRE ATT&CK TTPs to help Infrastructure Engineers design resilient solutions. They will also facilitate scoping activities for external penetration tests and help prioritize remediations.

Develop security testing to validate the efficacy of the Incident Detection technologies and execution of the Incident Response Plan.

Develop and deploy a deception implementation strategy.

Develop and deploy an adversary emulation strategy.

Evaluate threat intelligence products for applicability and determine the adjusted risk.

Evaluate potential security solutions and services to determine effectiveness.

Contribute to tabletop exercise development and delivery.

Validate technical controls to assure regulatory and customer compliance.

Document risks and validate compensating controls in the enterprise risk management platform.

Articulate value and ROI of proposed solutions. Lead proof of concept work. Quantify relative capabilities of competing tools.

Support Incident Response Investigations in the Preparation, Identification, and Recovery phases through anticipating and documenting attacker timelines.

Skills & Experience:

At least 5 years' experience in a technical role in networking, server infrastructure, IAM, cloud architecture, or configuration management. Including 3 years in Penetration Testing or Incident Response

Knowledge and experience with most of the following:

Incident Response

Vulnerability Management

Cloud Security

High-level Application Security Testing (OWASP-ZAP, commercial web app tools)

Practical familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR

Practical familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK

Nice to Have Certifications:

Security+, or equivalent, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent Incident Response Certification

GDAT, CPTA, OSCP, or similar
