• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components used in static voltage regulators.
• Knowledge of electrical component Purchase.
• Source and develop reliable vendors for electronic components, power electronics, transformers, copper, electrical accessories, sheet metal, enclosures, cables, and other manufacturing materials.
• Request quotations, compare prices and technical specifications, negotiate commercial terms, and prepare purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts, and Sales teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and avoid production delays.
• Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Stores team to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, and other documents in coordination with the Accounts team.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the required quality standards.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Support the resolution of material shortages, quality issues, and delivery discrepancies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in electrical, electronics, power electronics, or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and basic technical specifications.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation; knowledge of ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.
• Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple purchase requirements.
• A responsible, organised, and cost-conscious approach to procurement.
