Purchase Executive

1. Job Purpose

To manage procurement activities, cash purchases, and vendor/supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective availability of materials in line with organizational requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities as per production and project requirements.
• After design release internal costing required on time quotation submission.
• After material readiness at supplier end dispatch activity to be conduct with plant team. Ex. Porter activity.
• Handle cash purchases and maintain proper documentation for the same.
• Develop and manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply.
• Obtain and compare quotations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Cost saving each and every supplier to maintain the sheet how much cost is save at the time of quotation.
• Coordination with plant team on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production teams for material requirements.
• Maintain and update purchase lists, vendor records, and procurement documentation.
• Daily task updating in google sheet.
• Resolve vendor-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or billing discrepancies.
• Report and in process manufacturing status from supplier.
• On time delivery.
• On time NDA Sign with supplier & Vendor Registration documents.
• Material required in project/decided timeline.
• Negotiation with supplier as per internal costing.
• Zero Rejection.
• Minimum 2 quotation required from supplier.
• Developed make in India robot casting, Machining fixtures & Patterns and finalize the process and manufacturing timeline.
• Visit the supplier frequently as a when required.
• Clear the design related issues on time at supplier end.
• Minimum 2 kaizens in month.

Technical Knowledge

• Procurement negotiation and cost optimization skills.
• Vendor management, including sourcing, evaluation, and relationship building.
• Purchase documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and records.
• Understanding of material planning and inventory coordination.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes and cash purchase handling.
