Job Description

Purchase Executive
Role & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the sourcing of raw materials and components required for the manufacturing of textile machines.
Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best quality materials at competitive prices.
Evaluate and assess new suppliers for cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage order status. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including order confirmations, delivery schedules, and purchase order records.
Ensure that inventory levels of materials are maintained according to production needs to avoid delays.
Work closely with the production department to forecast material needs based on production schedules.
Ensure that all purchased goods meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Work with the quality control team to address any issues related to defective materials or parts.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management.
