Role & responsibilities Source and procure raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, tools, and engineering spares as per production and maintenance requirements. Prepare and process purchase orders in ERP/SAP systems. Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with vendors for quotations, price negotiations, delivery schedules, and follow-ups. Ensure competitive pricing and cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality. Ensure all procurement processes align with ISO 9001:2015 standards and company QMS procedures. Maintain all purchasing records and documentation in accordance with ISO requirements (e.g., purchase order, quotation, delivery challan, invoice, supplier evaluations). Participate in internal and external audits related to purchasing activities. Liaise with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Quality teams for seamless procurement and material flow. Support new product development by sourcing required parts in coordination with engineering and R&D. Handle end-to-end procurement of capital equipment, including machinery, tools, and infrastructure-related assets. Prepare CAPEX purchase orders, contracts, and payment terms in line with company policies. Preferred candidate profile Strong negotiation and communication skills . Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and documentation. ERP software (Roadmap) usage experience. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material specifications. Problem-solving attitude and supplier relationship management.
