We are expanding our business operations and seeking a dynamic and technically strong Business Development Manager to establish and lead our sales division. Job Summary: We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager with strong technical knowledge in pumps and conveyor gear boxes (drum motors) . The selected candidate will play a key role in developing the sales department , building a dealer and distributor network , and identifying new markets and business opportunities . The ideal candidate should combine technical understanding , strategic business development skills , and hands-on industrial sales experience . Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead a new Sales & Marketing Department for the company. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, OEMs, and dealers . Identify and appoint potential dealers, distributors, and channel partners across regions. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump and conveyor gear box (drum motor) solutions. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers. Coordinate closely with production, assembly, and design teams to align customer needs with product capabilities. Achieve and exceed sales targets and business growth goals . Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities. Generate and follow up on quotations, tenders, and proposals . Maintain detailed CRM records of customer interactions and sales activities. Provide after-sales support , including coordination for installation and service requirements. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. 2+ of experience in industrial sales, preferably in industrial slurry pumps, process pumps . Proven ability to develop new markets and build dealer networks . Knowledge of industrial production and assembly processes . Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills . Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently. Willingness to travel extensively to client and dealer locations. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools . Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience setting up a sales division or managing regional sales. Experience in Mining, Aggregate, Conveyor, or Paper industries . Exposure to industrial slurry pumps, process pumps . Understanding of ISO standards, industrial safety, and quality systems .
