Job Description

Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Female

Location: Mount Litera Zee School, Barh
Reports To: School Principal / School Management

Job Purpose

To act as the primary interface between the school and parents, visitors, and the public, ensuring positive communication, effective handling of admissions-related interactions, and maintaining the school’s professional image in line with Mount Litera Zee School standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPublic Relations & Front Office Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and guests
  • Handle parent enquiries (walk-in, telephonic, email, and online)
  • Provide accurate information about school curriculum, facilities, fees, and policies
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and welcoming front office environment

Admissions Support

  • Counsel parents regarding admission procedures and documentation
  • Coordinate admission forms, follow-ups, and record maintenance
  • Support the admissions team during peak admission periods

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate between parents, teachers, and school management
  • Schedule and manage appointments for the Principal and senior staff
  • Communicate circulars, notices, and important updates to parents

School Image & Branding

  • Support school events, orientations, PTMs, and open houses
  • Assist in maintaining school presence on social media and local promotions
  • Ensure adherence to Mount Litera Zee School branding and communication standards

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain visitor registers and enquiry records
  • Prepare daily/weekly enquiry and follow-up reports
  • Maintain confidentiality of school and student information

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (B.A. / B.Com / B.Sc. preferred)
  • 1–3 years experience in public relations, front office, or admissions (school experience preferred)
  • Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pleasant personality with a professional appearance
  • Proficiency in English & Hindi (spoken and written)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email handling)
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to handle parents politely and patiently

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, on-campus position
  • Working hours as per school schedule
  • Extended hours during admissions, events, or school functions

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in CBSE / Private School admissions
  • Familiarity with education counselling
  • Local candidate from Barh or nearby areas preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
