Role & responsibilities Installation and Configuration of OS on laptops & Desktops. Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of IIL. Installation and Configuration of MS office Troubleshooting issues related to standard office softwares (MS Office Word, xls, PowerPoint etc.). Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications and Other applicable business Software’s. Installing and troubleshooting SAP, AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Adobe acrobat writer, etc Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors. Installation/Troubleshooting/re-installation/configuration of systems, printers, scanners. Troubleshoot print queue related issues. Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers. Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups, provided printer queue is implemented by IIL. Troubleshooting of critical network issues for end users. Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client. Configuration of IP addresses in PCs and adding the same to VLANs (As applicable). Installation / configuration of e-mail clients. Performing user data recovery as applicable. Installation and Configuration of Anti-Virus Software. (approved and provided by IIL). Install approved OS patches onto desktops / laptops. Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop with the antivirus software. Troubleshooting of critical Desktops & Laptop hardware problems. Raising tickets with coordination with vendor for hardware related issues and follow up until closure. Pick up the assigned incidents & tickets and work until closure.
