We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our vibrant sales team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of proven experience in selling IT services. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will be crucial in articulating our value proposition to potential clients. Key Responsibilities New Business Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through various channels (cold calling, emails, social selling on LinkedIn, networking events, etc.). Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends in the IT services space. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, VPs, Directors). Conduct effective needs analysis to understand client challenges and business objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial sales cycle. Sales Process & Presentation: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closure, including proposal presentation and contract negotiation. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of our IT services. Prepare and present detailed proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs). Strategic Planning & Reporting: Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions for prospects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to the sales management. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in business development or sales, specifically within the IT services industry. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade a senior-level audience. Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills, with a proven ability to deliver clear, confident, and impactful presentations. Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of the IT services industry, including key service lines like software development, cloud computing, data analytics, and digital transformation. Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and service offerings.
