As the Director of the Application Engineering Center at ValueMomentum, you will lead the development of cutting-edge digital products and applications that align engineering efforts with strategic business objectives. Your role will involve designing and implementing innovative roadmaps to adopt the latest technologies, ensuring the delivery of scalable and secure solutions. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation across multidisciplinary teams. Your leadership will extend to driving pre-sales efforts by collaborating with stakeholders to craft compelling, client-aligned solutions. You will lead the implementation and scaling of the TechPulse Navigator to align engineering solutions with business goals. Additionally, you will develop assets and accelerators to enhance productivity and reduce time-to-market, while also establishing and managing technology alliances and partnerships to leverage market innovations. Ensuring adherence to the Engineering Center governance framework, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects, proactively managing risks and communicating delivery changes to stakeholders. People development and growth will be a key focus as you lead Engineering Center initiatives to drive talent development and innovation, building and mentoring high-performing teams. Your role will also involve maximizing operational efficiency and optimization by optimizing bench resources, driving hiring process improvements, and monitoring the average cost per resource to ensure operational sustainability and profitability. Engaging with clients and stakeholders, you will present tailored solutions and deliver high-impact results, while also driving innovation and continuous improvement by developing accelerators and tools to enhance solution quality and reduce time-to-market. To be eligible for this role, candidates must have over 15 years of extensive leadership experience in software engineering and delivery management, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles. Deep expertise in P&C insurance systems, cloud and application engineering, stakeholder and client management, team leadership and mentorship, delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and communication and influence are also required.
