This product is in stealth mode, led by a team of experienced builders working on redefining user-centric design for high-trust, emotion-driven experiences. Role Overview As a UI/UX Designer Intern , you’ll join our early design team to define the interface, identity, and experience of a product that’s positioned to challenge the status quo in consumer apps. You’ll be involved in ideation, research, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design. Success in this role means delivering clean, user-validated designs that move seamlessly into development and resonate with real users. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high level of ownership and creative freedom. You’ll report to the Product Design Lead and work closely with founders, engineers, and user research leads. Responsibilities Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD Translate core product requirements into intuitive, aesthetically elevated UI Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and iterate on designs Maintain and evolve the product’s design system and component library Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation Apply user-centered design principles to ensure a consistent and engaging experience across devices Participate in weekly design reviews and rapid prototyping sprints Qualifications Required: Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work (especially mobile-first interfaces) Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools Strong understanding of layout, typography, responsiveness, and accessibility Comfortable with iterative feedback cycles and fast-paced design execution Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback Passion for crafting human-first design experiences Bonus Points For: Experience working on consumer-facing products with complex UX flows Familiarity with animation libraries or tools (Framer, Protopie) Basic knowledge of frontend handoff tools or HTML/CSS fundamentals Prior work with emotional, conversational, or interactive interfaces Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field
