Job Description

Protection Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Testing & commissioning of protection relays
O/C, E/F, Distance, Differential, Busbar
.
Secondary injection testing
using Omicron / ISA / Manta test kits.
Configuration & parameter setting of
ABB / Siemens / GE / Schneider / SEL IEDs
.
Review
SLD, protection schemes, trip logic & interlocking drawings
.
Support site troubleshooting, fault analysis & relay coordination.
Prepare
test reports, configuration documentation & FAT/SAT records
.
Coordinate with client, OEM & EPC teams for safe project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience in
relay testing & protection schemes
.
Working knowledge of
numerical relays & Omicron test kit
.
Strong understanding of
power system protection fundamentals
.
Ability to work independently & manage multi-site responsibilities.
Good interpersonal and technical documentation skills.
