We are expanding our in-house web development team and are looking for a WordPress Developer with strong WPBakery expertise and a deep understanding of WordPress customization, performance optimization, and responsive design. Job Description: As a WordPress Developer at Prospect Digital, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern WordPress-based websites. You’ll work closely with our design and marketing teams to build websites that are fast, functional, and visually appealing. Your role will involve plugin integration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring the best user experience across all devices. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain professional websites using WordPress and WPBakery Page Builder . Customize and configure themes, templates, and plugins as per project requirements. Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility . Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Integrate APIs, contact forms, and third-party tools (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs). Troubleshoot and debug website issues efficiently. Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive web solutions. Maintain regular website backups and version control for all ongoing projects. Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, security standards, and web trends. Required Skills & Competencies: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development. Expertise in WPBakery Page Builder (required). Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP . Experience in theme and plugin customization . Familiarity with MySQL , cPanel , and website deployment processes. Understanding of website performance optimization and on-page SEO . Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong attention to detail and design precision. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Basic graphic design skills (using Canva , Figma , or Photoshop ). Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization. Familiarity with Git/version control systems . Understanding of Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed Insights optimization .
