Brief Description about the Project

  • To explore the association of long-term ambient air pollution (PM2.5) exposure and anaemia among WRA in India, and its moderation by fruit and vegetable intake, using secondary data.
  • To Prospectively study the effect modification by antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients in the association between long-term ambient air pollution (PM 2.5) exposure and anaemia among adolescent girls aged 18-25 years.

Salary: Rs.80,000 /- per month

Language: English

Experience:· Minimum Experience: 6 Months

Location: Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Programming in R (or Python or any related language) to mathematically infer underlying relationships in health datasets
  • Dealing With Survey data
  • Create meaningful plots in R (or Python or any related language) to demonstrate results of analysis
  • Building advanced statistical models and prepare draft reports/papers based on the data analysis.
  • Collaborate in preparing technical reports and journal articles.
