Job Profile: Project Manager – Civil Industry

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Experience: 12-20 years of experience in civil residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects. (Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)..

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

· Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones.

· Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

· Allocate resources efficiently and ensure timely execution.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

· Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets.

· Optimize resource allocation to minimize expenses.

· Monitor and control project expenditures.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

· Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.

· Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.

· Foster effective communication among stakeholders.

4. Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

· Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

· Conduct site inspections and quality audits.

· Implement corrective measures to resolve quality issues.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

· Collaborate with architects, consultants, and government agencies.

· Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

· Address client concerns and provide regular project updates.

6. Risk Management & Problem-Solving

· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

· Resolve conflicts and site-related issues promptly.

· Ensure contingency plans are in place for unforeseen challenges.

7. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, and reports.

· Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
