Role Description

Experience Required: 15+ years (with 3+ years managing cloud migration or app modernization programs) ________________________________________ Job Summary Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end cloud migration programs from on-premises infrastructure to AWS. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with overall technical understanding and ability to understand the client expectations and provide guidance to the team ensuring seamless execution of the entire project. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud migration projects (on-premises to AWS)
Provide guidance to define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, retire, retain)
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation models
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, DevOps, security, application teams)
Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation paths
Ensure adherence to best practices and organizational governance
Track and report project progress, KPIs, and milestones to stakeholders
Oversee data migration, application modernization, and infrastructure setup
Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency during and after migration
Ensure minimal downtime and business continuity during migration phases
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in managing cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects
Fair understanding of AWS services such as: o EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Migration Hub
Understanding of migration tools: o AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Database Migration Service (DMS)
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
Proficiency in project management tools (like Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to communicate both in English and Japanese (preferably JLPT N3) to ensure smooth execution and meet or surpass client expectations ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: o PMP / PRINCE2 / Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Experience in large-scale enterprise migration programs
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with ITIL processes ________________________________________ Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
MBA or equivalent is a plus ________________________________________ Key Competencies

Strategic planning and execution
Strong business and technical acumen
Excellent communication and presentation skills ________________________________________ Nice to Have
Experience with hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, GDPR)

On-time and within-budget delivery of migration projects
Minimal downtime and zero critical incidents during migration
Stakeholder satisfaction and adoption
Cost optimization post-migration ________________________________________
