Job Overview

We are looking for a structured and execution-oriented Project Manager to take ownership of customer projects from the moment Sales hands over a confirmed order until successful installation, commissioning, project closure and handover to Account Management.

The Project Manager will coordinate with Delivery & Inventory, Electrician & MEP, Inspection & Installation, and Account Management to ensure that every project is properly planned, resourced, documented and executed.

This role requires strong project coordination, operational discipline, stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously based on their complexity.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Ownership

• Take formal project handover from the Sales team after order confirmation.
• Understand client requirements, scope of work, commercial commitments, timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare the project charter, execution plan, milestones, resource plan and deployment schedule.
• Classify projects based on technical complexity, deployment size, geography and execution requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously where their scope and complexity permit.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, delays and resource constraints before they affect delivery.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Delivery & Inventory to ensure product availability, material preparation and dispatch readiness.
• Coordinate with Electrician & MEP to arrange internal electricians, local contractors and other required manpower.
• Work with the Inspection & Installation team to schedule site inspections, technical assessments, installations and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Key Account Managers for customer communication, site access, readiness and project handover.
• Ensure all departments understand their responsibilities, deadlines and dependencies.

3. Project Documentation & Tracking

• Maintain complete project documentation from initial requirements through final handover.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, BOMs, inventory plans, manpower allocation, inspection reports and commissioning records.
• Maintain project trackers, action items, issue registers and escalation logs.
• Ensure that every project has a clear owner, next action, deadline and closure status.
• Standardize project templates, checklists and reporting processes to improve execution efficiency.

4. Execution Monitoring & Quality Control

• Track progress against agreed timelines and milestones.
• Review installation readiness and ensure that all prerequisites are completed before deployment.
• Monitor installation quality, commissioning status, pending defects and customer acceptance.
• Escalate technical issues to the relevant Project Engineer or technical lead.
• Ensure that incomplete work, deviations and unresolved issues are documented and assigned for resolution.
• Conduct project closure reviews and ensure formal handover to Account Management.

5. Process Improvement

• Develop standardized SOPs for repeatable deployments across PG properties, banks, hotels and commercial facilities.
• Improve coordination between project planning, inventory, field workforce and technical execution.
• Identify recurring execution bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Build scalable project management practices that support increasing deployment volumes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Project Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management, technical operations, installation projects or field service delivery.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects involving hardware, electrical systems, IoT devices, HVAC, MEP, automation or building technology.
• Strong experience in cross-functional coordination and execution tracking.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, project trackers and documentation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, dependencies, escalations and competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospitality, banking, commercial buildings, facility management, energy management, IoT or electrical automation.
• Experience coordinating distributed field teams and local contractors.
• Familiarity with BOMs, commissioning reports, inventory planning and site readiness.
• Experience creating SOPs and improving operational processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an organized and accountable project owner who can coordinate multiple teams, anticipate execution problems and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. The candidate should be comfortable managing both straightforward, repeatable deployments and complex projects requiring additional technical resources.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
