Project Manager - Capacitor

Role Overview: Hitachi Energy is looking for a professional to join their team as a Project Manager based in the Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC). As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing projects as per contract scope, schedule, and contractual conditions. Your role will involve reviewing project contracts, planning, monitoring, and controlling project activities, developing project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Execute projects as per contract scope, schedule, and contractual conditions. - Review project contracts and understand terms & conditions, including risks. - Plan, monitor, and control project activities (Scope, Time, and Cost) proactively. - Develop project schedule and freeze with respective stakeholders. - Prepare project-wise Master document list and maintain updates. - Execute process activities in SAP and maintain documentation as per ISO and Internal process requirements. - Coordinate with Engineering and customer for timely approval of drawings and documents. - Act as a single point contact and escalation point for customer for project issues. - Prepare and submit project progress reports to customers as per contractual requirements. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - 7 to 12 years of work experience in a similar industry. - Experience in project execution of Capacitor Banks projects, Substation projects, or similar projects related to Design, supply, installation of High Voltage equipment. - Strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders. - Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects on time and within budget. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language.
