As a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager at Wipro Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalizing migration projects within the telecommunications sector. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing end-to-end migration projects in the telecom industry, developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project goals are met within scope, time, and budget. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end migration projects in the telecom industry, aligning with business objectives. - Develop detailed project plans encompassing scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of migration activities. - Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and mitigate them. - Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and solutions. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the migration process. - Foster communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders. - Conduct post-migration evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement. - Apply experience with Amdocs systems to enhance migration processes and outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in the telecom industry, focusing on migration projects. - Strong understanding of cable/telecom operations and technologies. - Experience with Amdocs systems is highly desirable. - Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Experience with SQL and relational databases is advantageous. - PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
