Project Engineering Specialist - Network Control

As a Project Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans for Control center SCADA based projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing projects and processes independently with limited supervision. - Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. - Overseeing the Engineering team in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying SCADA systems. - Making key technical decisions and resolving technical issues during the project lifecycle. - Ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to industry standards. - Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, customers, and other project parties. - Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and training to team members. - Managing technical documentation, configuration, and maintenance of SCADA systems. Your background should ideally include: - A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Electrical engineering, or a related field. - Approximately 08-12 years of experience in power system SCADA and IT/OT integration for power systems application in Electrical utilities. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
